The Senior Process Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality performance of manufacturing processes and internally produced components throughout the production lifecycle. The role leads process quality improvement activities, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, process risk assessments, quality planning, and quality system compliance. The position works closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to reduce defects, improve process capability, and strengthen operational quality performance. The role also provides day-to-day guidance and supervision for a team of Quality Operators supporting manufacturing operations. - Performing the quality controls and reportings for the parts manufactured in machinery,resine,silicon and sheet metal departments, - Defining the control periods and creating the quality control plans and instructions for the parts manufactured in machinery,resine,silicon and sheet metal departments, - Performing the controls (visual and dimensional controls), partial discharge tests and leakage tests for the parts manufactured in cast resin department, - In case a fault occurs in the parts produced internally, communicating with the related department's manager and creating corrective and preventive action forms for the faults, - Approving or rejecting and also reporting the first sample parts, - Conducting the PPAP and PFMEA studies for the parts produced on-site, - Contributing to A3 and 8D studies in the team.-Lead process quality activities across manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.-Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation for internal non-conformities and customer complaints.-Monitor process quality KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.-Support PFMEA, Lead Control Plan and support process validation activities.-Support APQP and new product introduction projects from a quality perspective.-Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve process capability and reduce quality losses.-Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.-Provide daily supervision, coaching and performance guidance to 3 Quality Operators." Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree on Mechanical Engineering - Metallurgical and Materials EngineeringAt least 5 years of experience in quality controlSkills:
Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA methodologies.Experience with structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, A3 and Root Cause Analysis.Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems; IATF 16949 knowledge is considered an advantage."Being prone to teamwork, being available to come to the plant on weekends sometimes, Having intermediate level of English language skillsAbout UsEaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to protecting the environment and improving the quality of life for people everywhere.
