Inventory Specialist - 1st Shift

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Depending on your assigned area, you will monitor inventory accuracy, investigate causes of inventory discrepancies, conduct cycle counts or physical inventory, or use Excel to maintain complex spreadsheets. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, and will be paid weekly at $20.00 per hour.
How you create impact
Operate Order Picker or Cherry Picker
Reconcile inventory and coordinate inventory procedures
Implement programs to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location
Process documentation to create a prompt credit transaction
Conduct system searches to locate products
Perform weekly cycle counts and make system adjustments
Maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection
Inspect and correct inventory diagnostics
Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory
Work overtime and weekends when needed and perform other tasks as assigned
What we would like you to bring
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of warehouse or 3PL experience
3+ years of experience in inventory
1+ years of experience operating Order Picker or Cherry Picker
1 year of experience with maintaining complex Excel spreadsheets
Can work overtime and weekends
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
