Accountabilities:

    In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions while contributing to system improvements and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with business needs.

    • Design, develop, and enhance software applications and existing codebases using modern engineering practices.
    • Build and maintain backend and full-stack components using Java, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, and related technologies.
    • Write unit and integration tests to validate functionality against defined acceptance criteria.
    • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding, documentation, and testing standards.
    • Analyze system changes and perform impact assessments to ensure safe and efficient updates.
    • Debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective long-term fixes.
    • Contribute to technical documentation including design documents, API specs, and system workflows.
    • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery commitments.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives in code quality, system performance, and engineering practices.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers when needed.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on backend development experience, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative global environment.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
      • 2+ years of software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development roles.
      • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React, and Node.js.
      • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS.
      • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SDLC principles.
      • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with exposure to iterative delivery.
      • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web services (SOAP/REST).
      • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems like Bitbucket or Git.
      • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate across teams and time zones.
      • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and support production systems when required.
