We're seeking experienced Maintenance Technician II professionals to help launch a brand-new, state-of-the-art distribution center in Bethlehem, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing maintenance operations, supporting advanced conveyor systems, and helping build a high-performing team from the ground up.

Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will:
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sortation equipment, automated storage and retrieval systems, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair automated conveyor and sortation systems.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs before equipment failures occur.
- Plan, schedule, and complete maintenance activities using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create, manage, and close work orders while tracking maintenance history and spare parts inventory.
- Develop maintenance schedules and maintain accurate electronic documentation.
- Perform basic controls programming and troubleshoot PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues involving conveyor motors, proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, stretch wrappers, dock doors, and other automated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and motor control diagrams.
- Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior maintenance team members.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to maximize equipment uptime.
- Perform routine safety inspections and follow all OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a distribution, warehouse, or fulfillment center.
- Experience maintaining Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in accordance with OEM safety standards.
- Preferred experience with automated conveyor systems, maintenance apprenticeships, and material handling equipment repairs.
- Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and industrial controls.
- Experience using CMMS software to manage maintenance activities.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) and working at elevated heights.
- Technical certification or an associate degree (or higher) in a related field is preferred.
- Excellent attendance and flexibility to support production requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for 10–12-hour shifts.
- Frequently push, pull, bend, reach, stretch, and lift throughout the workday.
- Climb ladders and work in elevated or confined spaces.
- Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
