As a Sr Business Development Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving business growth and identifying new opportunities for Honeywell. You will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.

You will work out of our Mason, OH location on a remote work schedule.

In this role, you will impact strategic leadership, market analysis, competitive intelligence, market expansion, lead generation, sales strategy, data analysis, strategic partnerships, team leadership, performance measurement, risk management, cost optimization, strategic planning, and fostering an innovation culture. Your role is instrumental in driving business growth, maintaining a strong market position, and achieving organizational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

          Data Engineering & Architecture

  • Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to support analytics, reporting, and operational systems
    Develop and optimize scalable data models, including dimensional modeling for enterprise reporting
    Integrate data across multiple enterprise systems (e.g., EAM, CRM, custom applications) to enable a unified “digital core”
    Ensure data quality, governance, and lineage across all ingestion and transformation processes
    Database & Platform Management
  • Work with multiple database technologies (MSSQL, Oracle, cloud data platforms) to store and process structured and unstructured data
    Design efficient schemas, optimize queries, and manage performance tuning
    Support data infrastructure configuration and ongoing platform reliability
    Reporting & Analytics Enablement
  • Build and maintain reporting solutions (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to support business operations and decision‑making
    Translate business requirements into dashboards, metrics, and KPIs
    Enable self‑service analytics by developing curated data layers and semantic models
    Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Ownership
  • Manage full lifecycle of applications and data solutions—from requirements gathering through deployment and support
    Track user requests, enhancements, incidents, and releases across systems
    Implement version control, testing, and CI/CD practices to ensure stable delivery
    Maintain documentation, workflows, and process standards aligned with operational excellence
    Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as a bridge between business users and engineering teams, translating requirements into technical designs
    Support daily operations, enhancements, and long‑term system improvements
    Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable digital solutions aligned with business objectives
    Continuous Improvement & Automation
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency
    Enhance data accessibility, accuracy, and timeliness across platforms
    Drive standardization of data, reporting, and system processes

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minnimum of 5 years experience with data engineering concepts (data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data modeling)
  • Minnimum of 5 years hands on experience working with SQL and experience working with multiple database systems
  • Experience with reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes
  • Ability to work across both business and technical domains
