Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to join the Marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager. This is a hands-on, content-first role for someone who lives and breathes visual storytelling, is constantly across the latest social trends, and is genuinely proactive about finding and capturing content around the hotel, rather than only planning and scheduling it.

You will be the eyes and creative energy behind our social presence, spending real time in the hotel, at Cavalieri Grand Spa Club, in Tiepolo Lounge, and at Uliveto Restaurant, capturing moments as they happen and shaping them into content that feels both current and unmistakably Rome Cavalieri.

  • Proactively create photo and video content across the property: guest experiences, the spa, F&B venues, events, behind-the-scenes moments, and employer branding
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, formats, and platform shifts, and adapt them thoughtfully to fit the elegance and tone of a Waldorf Astoria property
  • Develop content that balances what's trending with the aesthetic, storytelling, and brand standards of Rome Cavalieri and Waldorf Astoria
  • Coordinate and weave together a cohesive content story across the Rome Cavalieri, Cavalieri Grand Spa Club, Tiepolo Lounge, and Uliveto Restaurant Instagram accounts, so each account feels distinct but part of one connected narrative
  • Shoot, edit, and produce content independently (photo and video), with a strong eye for composition, lighting, and pacing
  • Support employer branding content in collaboration with HR, capturing team member stories and internal culture moments
  • Monitor performance and engagement across channels, and use basic analytics and ROI thinking to inform what content to prioritize and repeat
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and across departments (F&B, Spa, Events, HR) to spot content opportunities as they happen, not just from a pre-set calendar
  • Contribute ideas for campaigns, series, and content formats that keep the hotel's social presence fresh and engaging
  • A strong, demonstrable content creation background: photography, videography, editing, and an instinct for what performs well on social
  • Sharp awareness of current social media trends, formats, and platform culture, with the judgment to know what fits a luxury brand and what doesn't
  • An understanding of the luxury hospitality audience and what kind of storytelling resonates with it
  • Proactive energy: comfortable walking the property, spa, and venues to find and capture content independently, rather than waiting for direction
  • A foundational grasp of analytics and ROI, with genuine interest in growing that skill set further
  • Experience working in an agency or another structured, deadline-driven creative environment
  • Strong organizational instincts to manage multiple ongoing shoots, edits, and posting schedules across four distinct Instagram accounts
  • Excellent Italian and English skills, written and spoken

Advantageous:

  • Previous experience creating content for hospitality, F&B, wellness, or luxury lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with content and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, editing software, scheduling platforms)
  • A portfolio or reel showcasing personal or professional content work
