What we want you to do: - Own and lead multiple, simultaneous customer engagements implementing the Apptio SaaS solution, following Apptio methodology and utilizing project management best practices. - Develop effective and productive customer relationships that enable Apptio to become a trusted advisor for our customer’s IT executives. - Provide both engagement and TBM leadership to the customer. - Provide business acumen for customers and strive to understand the business problem we are solving in order to best deploy the solution and exceed customer expectations. - Gather functional and business requirements from client and translate into a functional design that aligns to customer needs and defined project scope, resulting in a successful deployment and adoption of the Apptio solution. - Manage project team activities and oversee completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, and ensuring technical success. - Work with the product management and development organization to channel client feedback and solutions into future releases of the Apptio product suite. **Your role and responsibilities** As an Engagement Manager, you will lead engagement activities on projects to ensure Marketing, Communication, or CSR strategy is at the foundation of work and creative quality standards are met. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of a portfolio of creative assets, managing relationships with cross-functional teams, and serving as both the internal and external liaison to translate business and creative needs into actions. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Creative Asset Delivery: Oversee the development and delivery of creative assets, ensuring they meet the required quality standards, whether produced in-house, in partnership with an external agency, or globalized to meet in-market business needs. • Streamline Processes and Finances: Refine business processes, including the use of tools to track and forecast financial and project objectives, to optimize time, cost, and quality across multiple simultaneous work efforts. • Facilitate Collaboration and Approvals: Drive communications, facilitate approvals, and apply learnings from previous work to strengthen the team's ongoing performance and build trust across stakeholders. • Negotiate and Build Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, negotiating and building trust to ensure successful project outcomes. • Apply Strategic and Tactical Expertise: Manage expectations at both strategic and tactical levels related to creative activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. **Required technical and professional expertise** Basic Qualifications: - Extensive system implementation or consulting experience, including several years in senior consultant or project management roles. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Finance or equivalent experience. - Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to execute against a defined methodology and deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline. - Advanced English. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Demonstrated client relationship and interpersonal skills. - Consulting experience in enterprise systems implementations. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Client-focused attitude and ability to be a customer advocate. - Team player, with effective and productive communication and presentation skills. - Demonstrated experience with packaged application software implementation practices. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to translate complex information into simple solution requirements. - Experience with data analysis projects. - A proven history of meeting with senior management and executives as the subject matter expert. Business Domain Focus - Specific knowledge and application of IT services and financial management including budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application / infrastructure support. - Operational knowledge of IT infrastructure domains including data centers, network / communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development & maintenance. - Portuguese Proficiency.
