Accountabilities:
- Lead and maintain cybersecurity compliance programs, including oversight of regulatory obligations and alignment with national security requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external monitoring organizations, and business partners to support reporting, governance, and compliance expectations.
- Translate cybersecurity regulations and control frameworks into practical processes, including NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171/172, CMMC 2.0, DFARS, FAR-based requirements, and sector-specific standards.
- Support audit readiness activities, assessments, evidence management, and compliance reporting processes.
- Partner with legal, technical, and business teams to strengthen cybersecurity posture and proactively manage compliance risks.
- Drive continuous improvement of compliance workflows, tools, and reporting capabilities through automation, digital solutions, and data-driven approaches.
- Improve governance processes through platforms and tools such as GRC solutions, workflow automation, reporting systems, and collaboration technologies.
- Support cybersecurity framework assessments, including ISO/IEC 27001, ISMS, and application-level reviews.
- Ensure adherence to applicable internal policies, external regulations, and cybersecurity procedures.
- Contribute to the development of efficient, scalable compliance practices that enhance operational resilience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity compliance, public policy, legal/regulatory, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and North American cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, including CFIUS obligations, NIST standards, CMMC 2.0, DFARS, FAR-based requirements, and NERC CIP.
- Understanding of global cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, and related control mapping approaches.
- Experience managing compliance programs, audits, assessments, governance processes, or risk management initiatives.
- Familiarity with GRC, IRM, workflow, reporting, or collaboration tools; experience with automation, AI-enabled analysis, or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain cybersecurity concepts and regulatory requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working across global, multicultural teams and collaborating across different time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or PMP are preferred.
- Ability to occasionally travel and work flexible hours across time zones.
