The primary objective of this senior engineering leadership role is to serve as a trusted adviser to our clients in all matters related to facilities engineering. To achieve this you will reliably deliver engineering operations across a range of critical facilities, you will influence MEP design partners and project deliver teams to support the best outcomes for new works and you will find workable solutions to the myriad of challenges that will present themselves. While achieving this you will manage client and management team expectations and satisfaction through exemplary communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Responsible for deployment of engineering platforms, processes, procedures and tools, all utilised to ensure effective engineering service delivery.

  • Responsible for influencing designs and operationalising new works so as to achieve the onboarding and effective management of new assets and systems.

  • Goals – Achieve zero unplanned downtime

  • Goals – Support service delivery teams to meet operational targets

  • Goals – Implement model programmes aligned with Global Processes & Procedures

Essential Duties and Responsibilities       

Reporting to the Regional Head of Engineering, ensuring the successful service delivery the markets engineering operations for a range of critical facilities in accordance with the business objectives. The client’s facilities and critical environments offer a high risk to the JLL business and hence requires a person who is process driven, has strong risk management skills and creates a trusted advisor culture. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate significant experience with running engineering operations, with the ability to communicate to both business, facilities and data centre clients. Having worked within a complex client organisation in the past would be beneficial.

  • Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to develop processes and procedures and be held accountable to them

  • Analytical skills / systematic approach

Experience                             

  • Significant banking and/or financial institution experience

  • Previous design consultancy experience is welcomed

  • Experience in managing risk during complex works in critical environments

  • Experience operating within a complex client organisation

  • Practical working knowledge of best practice tools and techniques.

  • Practical experience in hard services contract delivery.
