The Procurement team is seeking a motivated, experienced Purchasing Analyst to provide support to our Indirect Materials Procurement located at ADI’s Wilmington location. As a Purchasing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting analytical requests from the Indirect Materials purchasing team, working on various initiatives. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn about high-priority initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across several groups within ADI. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Analytical procurement support

  • Procurement related spend analytics

  • Define, analyze, and track key procurement metrics within our supply chain.

  • Find root-cause issues and ways to improve.

  • Present trends and impact to management to drive increased productivity and profitability

  • Build compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards to showcase our work internally and externally (also become an expert in MS Excel)

  • Desire to collaborate with the team and build working relationships with stakeholders

  • Exceptional drive, intellectual curiosity, and ownership

  • Able to break down and communicate complex ideas

  • Participates in special projects as needed

Minimum qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related function

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once and switch between strategic and detail-oriented thinking

  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments

  • Effective communicator with the ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships internally, including cross functional and cross site collaboration

  • Commitment to learn and develop new skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or Oracle as MRP system

  • Experience with QlikView

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Power-BI

  • Understanding of cost modeling and business financial acumen

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $68,790 to $94,605.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
