Life at Eurofins is a meritocracy, where people are empowered to make decisions and are rewarded for their success, allowing them to advance quickly. Become your most extraordinary self with support and development throughout your career.Job DescriptionLaboratory ResponsibilitiesPerforms benchtop testing of large molecules using ELISA, MCE, and ICIEF assaysMaintains laboratory supplies, media, and reagents inventory.Adheres to good documentation practices (GDP) for all paper and electronic documentation.Collects and processes all raw data about executed assays.Uses Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample management and documentation of test results.Performs peer review of procedural execution and processed dataWorks with data reviewers and authorizers to complete any needed corrections or retesting.Use of GDP to record activities in logbooks, laboratory notebooks, and electronic systemsLaboratory safety and compliance walkthroughs with documentation of any observationsCompletion of all safety and procedural trainings and re-training.Leadership ResponsibilitiesPersonnel management and development.Manages and coordinates the team's workload.Management of the cross-training and capacity of the teamMonitors and reports all productivity and quality metrics.Proactive and effective communication with client and customer teamsCompletes routine laboratory safety walkthroughs and employee compliance checks.Participate in the hiring process and onboarding/training of new hires.Delivers training for new hires and other employees in the department.Participates in overtime and weekend scheduling as required.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience3 years of cGMP experience3 years of leadership experienceExperience with immunoassays and electrophoresis.Experience with processing quantitative dataExperience using an electronic sample and data management system (LIMS)Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.Additional InformationPosition is Full Time, Monday-Friday, First Shift, Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselear, New York, are encouraged to applyExcellent full-time benefits include: Medical Coverage: Comprehensive medical insurance optionsDental & Vision: Full dental and vision coverage availableLife & Disability Insurance: Employer-sponsored plansRetirement: 401(k) plan with company matchPaid Time Off: Vacation days, paid holidays, and additional PTO optionsCompensation: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour   LinkedIn: #LI-EB1Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.By clicking the link above or any third-party link within...
