As an Accounts Supervisor, you’re not just overseeing receivables, collections, and payables while ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions—you’re helping to create the foundation for exceptional hospitality. Through effective cash flow management, strong financial controls, and collaborative support to hotel operations, you contribute to seamless guest experiences and help deliver the light and warmth of hospitality that makes every stay memorable.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable activities: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and supplier settlements while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage collections and cash flow: Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue accounts, and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to optimize collections and maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Supervise account reconciliations: Review and approve reconciliations of customer accounts, vendor statements, subsidiary ledgers, and the general ledger to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve payment and billing discrepancies: Investigate and resolve issues related to invoices, payments, credit notes, and account disputes in coordination with relevant departments and external parties.
  • Monitor credit and vendor management: Support credit control activities, assess customer creditworthiness, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to agreed payment terms.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis: Generate accounts receivable, accounts payable, aging, cash flow, and collection reports, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Lead and support the finance team: Supervise daily accounting operations, provide guidance to team members, ensure compliance with internal controls, and drive continuous process improvements across receivables, collections, and payables functions.
