This marks the fourth consecutive year that Infinx India has achieved certification and the first time the company has earned recognition in the U.S.Summary Description:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Field Support Technician to provide support of hardware and software solutions deployed in clerical, clinical, and work-from-home environments. This position will work under the general supervision of the client's IT Operations Team Lead, Manager, and/or Director. In this role, you will need the expertise to resolve end user problems as presented from the end user through various service request channels. You will be responsible for providing support to team members to complete various daily tasks such as computer imaging as well as hardware and software deployment. As IT Operations Field Support Specialist, you will provide basic support for network equipment, phone systems, and other IT infrastructure.Daily ResponsibilitiesAssist staff with the installation, relocation, configuration, and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelinesComputer imaging and hardware troubleshooting of both laptop and desktop computers along with a thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems and accompanying softwareMaintain inventory levels and facilitate and track shipments of IT equipment to end usersAct as liaison between IT and Branch Sites/Offices for various IT and Operational projects and evolutionsMonitor and complete all support and project-related tasks and activitiesEnter, monitor, and complete all entries in the Support Desk tracking system, which includes stating the issues, listing all troubleshooting steps, providing a resolution, and marking the records as completeInteract with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from other IT teams such as Clinical Applications, IS Admins, and Infrastructure to resolve user issuesUtilize industry best practices to maintain appropriate level of LAN/WAN and computer systems security as establishedIdentify and work with Cyber Team support staff to rectify any noted deficienciesOther duties and responsibilities as requestedSkills and Education:Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline2 years of hands-on experience in desktop/user support within a corporate or clinical environmentStrong working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and endpoint management toolsCurrent and valid driver's license in good standing with vehicle access or the ability to secure transportation as neededProven ability to support remote users and troubleshoot VPN or remote connectivity issuesStrong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to...
