Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Student Nurse Tech, you will help healthcare teams deliver exceptional care and support patient recovery so they can experience optimal comfort, safety, and health outcomes. Every day you will assist RNs with direct patient care and essential clinical tasks. You will be expected to support patient mobility, hygiene, and documentation while advancing your practical nursing education. To be successful in this role, you must bring a strong foundation of nursing knowledge, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Clinical Support: Assist the nursing team with patient procedures, vital sign collection, and equipment management while strictly adhering to your defined scope of practice.Patient Care: Provide compassionate daily living assistance, including hygiene, bathing, and comfort measures, ensuring patient dignity and satisfaction.Rounding & Monitoring: Conduct regular rounds to observe patient condition, maintain accurate documentation, and report status changes to the primary RN.Mobility & Transport: Safely assist patients with ambulation and coordinate the transport of patients using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.Educational Development: Actively participate in the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—under the direct supervision of licensed staff.Care Collaboration: Maintain an organized, safe work environment and effectively communicate patient needs to contribute to the interdisciplinary care team.  Job Requirements Current enrollment and in good standing in a full time Nursing Program such as an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program or RN Associate Degree program or LPN to RN nursing program.Active Nurse Aide (CNA) license in good standing in NebraskaBasic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association  Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
