This is an opportunity to take over the role of Executive Assistant for Corporate Responsibility (CR) department, which oversees the development and implementation of the firm’s CR agenda and initiatives by crafting goals, policies, and initiatives that align with the firm’s business strategies and operational objectives and support communities where we do business. CR includes Global Government Relations, Global Philanthropy, Sustainable Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and the JPMorgan Policy Center and Institute. Global Government Relations (GGR) is housed within Corporate Responsibility and is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive policy, regulatory and advocacy strategy on behalf of JPMorgan Chase.
As an Executive Administrative Assistant within our EMEA Government and Regulatory Relations team, you will be a key member of the EMEA Government Relations team, reporting to the Head of EU Government Relations, and supporting 4 other senior stakeholders across our EMEA locations. You will leverage your experience, knowledge and skills to effectively guide, coordinate and communicate daily and long-term objectives to senior managers, colleagues across Corporate Responsibility, and other partners at the firm and will be responsible for a variety of critical areas related to EMEA Government Relation's management and operations. As the Executive Assistant, you will also be responsible for the execution of special internal- and external-facing projects, as assigned by the EMEA Government Relations team.
Job responsibilities
- Manage complex schedules/calendars in a fast-paced and dynamic environment which requires the need to be available for support before and after hours;
- Schedule internal and external meetings in-person and via video conferencing; adjustment and prioritization of last-minute changes including logistics such as conference rooms, events, and catering;
- Respond and following up on calls, emails and other inquiries on managers' behalf;
- Arrange and maintain staff travel arrangements;
- Reconcile and complete expense reports;
- Help managing the International Government Relation's records and document management system;
- Support written communication, talking points and messages on behalf of International Government Relations;
- Collaborate with other assistants in the group to execute shared team processes and initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong experience working in an administrative assistant capacity supporting multiple executives at a senior level;
- High attention to detail; follows through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness;
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels of an organization, including executive/C-Suite management;
- Fluent in both French and English language;
- Sound judgment and strong independent problem-solving and collaborative skills;
- Positive self-starter with proactive approach, confidence, excellent time management and prioritization skills;
- Mastery of core Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Zoom.
