Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Training Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining comprehensive training programs for our cloud-based facilities management platform and Work Order Management System. This role will ensure that all users, including internal staff and external clients, are proficient in utilizing our platform to its full potential. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, video tutorials, and interactive e-learning modules. 
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for various user groups, including new hires, existing employees, and clients. 
  • Assess training needs and design customized training programs to address specific user requirements and skill levels. 
  • Stay up to date with platform/software updates and new features, incorporating them into training materials and programs. 
  • Collaborate with the IT and operations teams to ensure training aligns with system implementations and upgrades. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback and performance metrics. 
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to users to enhance their proficiency with the platform. 
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and best practices.  
  • Assist in troubleshooting platform-related issues and provide guidance to users. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training methodologies and content. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, preferably in software or technology-related fields. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Work Order Management System or similar facility management software. 
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms. 
  • Proficiency in creating training materials using various tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Camtasia, Snag-It, Visio, e-learning authoring tools). 
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and learning management systems. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Willingness to travel for on-site training sessions. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, ATD certifications). 
  • Experience in facilities management or related industries. 
  • Knowledge of additional languages (specify based on your company's needs).
