Accountabilities:

    • Define and execute the regional strategy for Latin America, ensuring alignment with global objectives, public health priorities, and long-term growth goals.
    • Identify opportunities to expand adoption of scientific standards, programs, services, and strategic partnerships throughout the region.
    • Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on regional opportunities, risks, market trends, and policy developments.
    • Build and maintain high-level relationships with regulatory authorities, government institutions, healthcare organizations, industry partners, academic institutions, and other key stakeholders.
    • Represent the organization in regional and international forums, technical committees, and policy discussions.
    • Manage regional financial performance, including revenue growth, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and sustainability initiatives.
    • Oversee operational execution, ensuring compliance, quality systems, risk management, and effective coordination across teams.
    • Lead and develop diverse, high-performing teams across multiple countries while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, integrity, and innovation.
    • Support strategic partnerships, public-private collaborations, grants, and mission-aligned initiatives.
    • Act as a regional spokesperson, strengthening reputation, trust, and stakeholder engagement across Latin America.
    • Requirements:

      • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline; MBA or PhD preferred.
      • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior executive responsibility across Latin America.
      • Demonstrated experience working in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or public health.
      • Proven experience managing P&L responsibilities and leading complex, multi-country operations.
      • Strong understanding of Latin American regulatory frameworks, healthcare systems, and regional market dynamics.
      • Fluency in Portuguese and English, with advanced Spanish proficiency required.
      • Experience with non-profit organizations, standards development, regulatory environments, pharmaceutical markets, or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
      • Established relationships with regional health authorities, international organizations, and key industry stakeholders are highly valued.
      • Strong leadership capabilities, including strategic thinking, executive presence, stakeholder influence, and cross-cultural collaboration.
      • High integrity, ethical judgment, and the ability to build trust in complex environments.
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and create alignment among diverse stakeholders.
      • Ability to travel approximately 30–40% across the region.
