What Drives Success
A Group Leader (Recycling) for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is a frontline leader responsible for leading and coordinating a team of recycling/reclamation workers. They play a key role in achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency within the team and facility.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Help enforce safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Provide training to team members on production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Supervise, coach, and lead a team of recycling/reclamation workers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize team performance.
- Assist with planning and coordinating daily production schedules to meet output targets.
- Monitor and adjust workflow to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate production goals, targets, and expectations to the team.
- Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
- Act as a liaison between recycling/reclamation workers and higher management, conveying feedback and concerns.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team and individual performance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires 1-3 years related experience.
- Displays sound judgment and leadership.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $26.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
