Position Overview

Oracle is seeking a customer-focused Data Platform Cloud Architect to join the North America Cloud Engineering team supporting the Healthcare industry. This role partners with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that solve complex healthcare business challenges while accelerating customer adoption of Oracle Cloud services. The architect serves as a trusted advisor to executive and technical stakeholders, translating business priorities into scalable data, analytics, AI, and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with sales and customers to identify, qualify, and advance strategic Oracle Cloud opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, enterprise architects, AI and LOB leaders.
  • Design enterprise cloud architectures spanning data platforms, analytics, AI, interoperability, governance, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and deployment planning.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions that drive healthcare business outcomes, accelerate digital transformation, enhance operational efficiency, strengthen security and compliance, and enable data-driven innovation.
  • Drive Oracle Cloud adoption through architecture guidance, implementation planning, and customer enablement.
  • Develop executive presentations, solution strategies, reference architectures, and reusable technical assets.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Consulting, and Customer Success to deliver successful customer outcomes.
  • Provide healthcare industry thought leadership and mentor fellow architects.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, consulting, solution engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles.
  • Proven success leading complex enterprise cloud engagements and supporting strategic technology sales.
  • Strong expertise in modern data platforms, cloud databases, analytics, AI/ML, data integration, governance, security, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)/GCP/Azure/AWS, Oracle Database, Autonomous Database, and enterprise data modernization initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), HIPAA, and healthcare digital transformation priorities.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, consultative selling, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across technical and business organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline preferred. Advanced degree and Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and occasional international).

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $147,300 to $243,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
