Accountabilities
- Design and develop printed circuit boards that meet or exceed mechanical, electrical, RF, and manufacturing requirements for complex engineering projects.
- Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure design alignment, clarity of requirements, and successful project execution.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery and proactive communication of progress and risks.
- Apply creativity and technical expertise to solve complex PCB layout challenges and support schedule-intensive or high-complexity designs.
- Use advanced PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro or Siemens Xpedition to execute high-quality layout work.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design and project issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including time tracking, project updates, and quality review inputs via internal systems.
- Act as a customer advocate, supporting business growth by ensuring design excellence and strong client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or minimum 12+ years of hands-on PCB design and layout experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in PCB layout techniques with strong understanding of mechanical, electrical (RF and mixed-signal), and manufacturing constraints.
- Advanced experience using industry-standard tools such as Cadence Allegro or Siemens Xpedition.
- Strong knowledge of IPC standards and best practices in PCB design and manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers and engineering teams.
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
