Accountabilities:

    • Design and implement security automation solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency across security and compliance operations.
    • Build security telemetry capabilities that continuously collect control evidence, monitor security posture, and provide real-time visibility into risk and compliance status.
    • Develop automation frameworks and custom integrations that support continuous control monitoring, audit readiness, and proactive risk management.
    • Translate security and compliance requirements into technical implementations, including automated controls, self-healing security mechanisms, and scalable workflows.
    • Architect and develop identity and access automation solutions, including provisioning connectors, account lifecycle management, and access governance workflows.
    • Build solutions for systems without native identity governance capabilities, including proprietary applications, databases, and specialized SaaS platforms.
    • Create secure access workflows that ensure customer-approved, time-bound, and automatically revoked permissions for sensitive environments.
    • Develop automation to discover, inventory, and manage secrets, credentials, API keys, and other sensitive access elements across systems.
    • Improve visibility into permissions, access controls, and identity risks by consolidating security data into centralized and actionable systems.
    • Partner with security, engineering, product, governance, risk, and compliance teams to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
    • Support the development of advanced risk automation capabilities, including intelligent workflows for risk assessment and security decision-making.
    • Continuously identify opportunities to reduce operational friction and improve security processes through automation and engineering excellence.
    • Requirements:

      • Strong hands-on experience in security automation, security engineering, identity and access management (IAM), or identity governance and administration (IGA).
      • Proven ability to design and build scalable automation systems and security-focused engineering solutions.
      • Strong programming experience in at least one commonly used language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
      • Experience developing reliable automation frameworks, integrations, APIs, and security tooling in complex technical environments.
      • Familiarity with compliance automation, continuous control monitoring, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools, and security assurance processes.
      • Understanding of security risks related to identity management, access controls, change management, and data integrity.
      • Ability to translate complex security requirements into automated technical workflows and practical engineering solutions.
      • Experience building systems that provide continuous security visibility, telemetry, and risk validation.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and create scalable solutions.
      • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across security, engineering, and business teams.
      • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is a plus.
      • Experience working in cloud infrastructure, database platforms, developer tools, or similar technology environments is preferred.
      • Experience with artificial intelligence-driven security solutions, agentic risk assessment, or non-deterministic risk models is a plus.
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive salary range of $125,000 – $174,000 USD for most US locations.
        • Premium market salary range of $157,000 – $205,000 USD for eligible locations such as major technology hubs.
