SUPO)Why this role matters:The Technical Release Manager owns the end-to-end execution of releases in practice. This role ensures that releases are correctly prepared, executed, validated, and closed across engineering, product, and delivery teams.The Technical Release Manager is hands-on during release windows, acts as the primary operational contact, and ensures that what was planned is what actually runs in production. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.Key Duties(Coordinate → Prepare → Execute → Verify → Close)Implement the release process and work closely with the other release representatives to create a seamless release experience for the organizationCoordinate end-to-end release execution across engineering, product management and delivery and support teamsPrepare and track release content, configurations, and dependencies to ensure technical readinessExecute and support releases, including hands-on post-deployment validation and sanity checksValidate release content, configurations, feature flags, and release-specific settingsAct as the primary operational point of contact during release windowsIdentify, communicate, and escalate execution risks and blockersEnsure release outcomes and follow-ups are clearly documentedActs as gatekeeper together with QA Manager to make sure the set quality targets have been metOwns the feedback loop through the whole release process through to delivery team and facilitate that information back to the product development organizationWhat are we looking forCore Experience5+ years of hands-on experience in one of the following roles:Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, Software Developer, or Technical Project ManagerDirect experience executing releases in a CI/CD-driven environmentCI/CD & ToolingHands-on experience running, monitoring, and troubleshooting releases using GitHub ActionsAbility to interpret pipeline stages, logs, failures, and test signalsExperience triggering, re-running, rolling back, and validating pipeline executionsWorking knowledge of Python or scripting to support release execution and operational automationRelease Execution & CoordinationExperience running release syncs, tracking readiness, and managing cross-team dependenciesOwnership of release communications and...
