Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain full-stack product features that leverage data and AI capabilities to enhance customer, agent, supervisor, and administrator experiences.
- Develop backend services, APIs, workflows, and integrations connecting product systems with data and AI technologies.
- Work with customer interaction data, analytics models, and operational datasets to support intelligent product features.
- Collaborate with AI, Data Platform, Product, QA, and engineering teams to design and deliver high-quality customer-facing solutions.
- Contribute to data pipelines, data models, analytics workflows, and internal tools that improve access to product and operational insights.
- Create user-facing applications and interfaces using modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies when needed.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in design reviews, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges by breaking down ambiguous problems and driving solutions from concept to delivery.
- Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to improving engineering practices and team standards.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong production experience with Python and experience building reliable software systems.
- Experience developing full-stack applications, backend services, APIs, or data-driven product features.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with data systems, pipelines, analytics workflows, or applications involving large-scale datasets.
- Interest in or experience with AI technologies, machine learning systems, LLM applications, virtual agents, automation, or intelligent software solutions.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, debugging, and scalable system design.
- Ability to work across different areas of the technology stack and quickly learn unfamiliar tools and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ownership, self-motivation, and ability to make progress in ambiguous technical environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in distributed team settings.
- Experience working with cloud platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience building event-driven systems, workflow engines, queues, or distributed architectures.
- Familiarity with contact center, CRM, customer support, messaging, or telephony technologies.
- Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
- Competitive annual salary range of $115,000 – $130,000 USD, depending on experience, location, education, and skill level.
