Transformer Field Service Technician - (Central Region)

Role responsibilities

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the repair, overhaul, testing, installation, and maintenance of power transformers and related electrical equipment. This role involves both shop-based and field service work, supporting customer facilities throughout the assigned region.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in transformer work. Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and the ability to travel and work overtime during outage seasons are also required.
