What You Will Do:
Perform end-to-end Quality Assurance (QA) on AML investigations reviews across Retail Banking and Crypto domains
Assess analyst decisions on customer risk profiling, transaction analysis, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity identification
Conduct deep-dive QC audits ensuring completeness, accuracy, regulatory alignment, and strong case narrative standards
Evaluate use of internal systems, third-party tools, blockchain analytics (for crypto exposure), and open-source intelligence (OSINT)
Identify gaps, risk misses, and process deviations, and ensure adherence to AML policies, regulatory guidelines, and client-specific procedures
Provide actionable, structured feedback and coaching to analysts to drive continuous quality improvement
Act as a SME and on-demand trainer, delivering refresher sessions on AML concepts (CDD/EDD/KYC/SAR/TMS), domain-specific modules (Retail Banking customer risk, Crypto transaction monitoring), and calibration sessions and best-practice sharing
Maintain and publish quality dashboards, scorecards, error trend analysis, and RCA reports
Partner with Operations, Training, and Client stakeholders to close quality gaps and improve performance
Drive quality calibration discussions, ensuring consistency in interpretation of policies across teams
Support process improvements, SOP updates, and audit readiness initiatives.
Ensure adherence to productivity, TAT, and quality SLAs while maintaining high attention to detail
What You Will Need:
Must be a graduate in any streams from a recognized university
Minimum 6 years of AML experience in Crypto/TMS/ EDD /processes, with:
Proven track record as a strong performer, consistently meeting/exceeding quality and productivity benchmarks.
Mandatory exposure to training and coaching analysts, including conducting knowledge sessions, providing structured feedback, and driving performance improvement.
Experience in handling team-level responsibilities, acting as a go-to SME for process queries, escalations, and quality-related guidance.
Ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, showcasing strong communication, professionalism, and confidence in discussions.
Demonstrated capability to balance QC responsibilities with team support, stakeholder interactions, and deliverables without compromising quality.
A clear readiness to operate beyond an individual contributor role, with ownership mindset and ability to influence team outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and improve analyst performance through structured feedback.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, or as per project requirements.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience working in Crypto AML / Blockchain Analytics tools
Exposure to global regulatory frameworks (FATF, FinCEN, FCA, MAS, etc.)
Prior experience as a Trainer / Coach / SME, which may include delivering structured training programs or creating training decks and knowledge material
Experience in quality calibration frameworks and audit programs
Strong stakeholder management with client-facing exposure
