Accountabilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a procurement operations team, ensuring high performance, strong engagement, and continuous professional growth.
- Oversee daily procurement operations, including intake, approvals, purchasing workflows, and vendor onboarding processes.
- Define and optimize procurement operating models, improving efficiency, scalability, and stakeholder experience.
- Manage procurement systems and tools (e.g., Coupa, Ironclad, Astra), ensuring smooth workflows and system adoption.
- Partner closely with Finance and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate PO processes, budget control, and financial governance.
- Develop and maintain procurement reporting and analytics, delivering insights on spend, savings, cycle times, and performance metrics.
- Drive process improvements to reduce cycle times, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and governance frameworks (including SOX where applicable).
- Support vendor management, procurement transformation initiatives, and cross-functional process alignment.
- Promote documentation, training, and stakeholder enablement to strengthen procurement understanding across the organization.
- 5–7+ years of experience in procurement operations, procurement, or related functions.
- 1–3+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role, with proven ability to develop and coach talent.
- Strong experience working with procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ironclad, Astra, or similar systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design, scale, and optimize procurement processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration experience with Finance, Legal, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong systems thinking mindset, with interest in automation and process optimization.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to lead teams through change and operational pressure.
- Fluency in English is required for working in a global environment.
