Ultrasonographer II | Full Time
Overview
Under the supervision of the Director of Prenatal Diagnosis and the Division Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine, must be able to perform diagnostic obstetric ultrasound exams, and assist with invasive procedures as needed.
Coordinates testing activities in unit as requested. Performs procedures in the area.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- GED or High School Diploma
Preferred Education: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Required Licensure/Certification:
- RDMS certification in one of the following specialties: - Abdomen (AB) - Breast (BR) - Fetal Echocardiology (FE) - Neurosonology Registrant - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) - Pediatric Sonography (PS)
- BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Licensure/Certification:: For OB/GYN positions: - CLEAR certification - NTQR certification Required
Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a specialty ultrasonographer position
Preferred Experience:: Clinical Experience in High Risk OB, CLEAR (Cervical Length Education and Review Program, Fetal Echo Experience, or MFM experience.
