The Opportunity

Join us to lead, grow and define the vision for how Adobe keeps customers deeply engaged across our Customer Experience (CX) product portfolio. In this role, you will deliver and execute the strategy that drives product adoption, value realization and long-term retention—turning our customers into enthusiastic advocates and loyal fans by building knowledge, creating connections, and deepening relationships at every stage, from adoption through advocacy.

What you’ll do

Vision and Strategy

  • Develop and implement adoption marketing motions that ensure Adobe customers develop the skills needed to successfully adopt their enterprise products and discover the products’ most compelling features. This role is a player coach role and will require the candidate to be comfortable leading a team, defining strategy but also rolling up their sleeves to work on development, execution, and measurement of programs.

  • Lead a team of industry leading adoption and retention marketers.

  • Serve as a primary customer and market-facing evangelist for Adobe’s products and practitioners.

  • Define and lead the engagement strategy that drives product mastery, ecosystem loyalty, value realization, and customer success across Adobe’s CX product portfolio.

  • Own the customer engagement model across the lifecycle, connecting adoption and ongoing engagement to retention and growth.

  • Represent Adobe externally as a visionary thought leader in customer adoption and retention.

  • Ensure global scalability, accessibility, and seamless integration with Adobe’s ecosystem.

Content Strategy

  • Work across the enterprise with a cross-functional team to build compelling and engaging content including in-product guides, email nurtures, webinars, and co-authored content with expert customers.

  • Ensure all adoption and retention content reflects Adobe’s brand voice, innovation ethos, and values.

  • Lead an engagement and adoption program for the marketing community with broad reach in partnership with other organizations inside Adobe.

  • Establish performance metrics that connect engagement and adoption to retention and growth.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle/retention marketing, adoption marketing, and data analytics, with deep expertise in digital customer engagement at scale.

  • A proven track record of building and growing adoption and retention programs that deliver measurable impact on engagement, retention, and growth.

  • Strong fluency with modern AI platforms and expertise in applying AI capabilities to business problems.

  • Fluency with adoption and retention metrics—product adoption, feature usage, net revenue retention, churn risk, and retained/expansion revenue—and the ability to tie programs to them.

  • Strong executive presence and cross-functional leadership, with the ability to influence across product, marketing, and field organizations.

  • Analytical rigor and storytelling ability—translating data, feedback, and insights into compelling narratives and business outcomes.

  • Passion for customer connection and celebration, grounded in empathy and creativity.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
