Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is looking for a Supplier Management Team (SMT) Principal Systems Engineer on the Delta Flight Test Vehicle (DFTV) within Advanced Equipment Subcontract with Lockheed Martin for the Sentinel Program, located at the Strategic Deterrence Division (SDS) headquarters in Roy, UT. Primary job responsibilities include participation and leading technical tag ups, support of testing and review / approvals of test reports and procedures and working within the team to align with customer requirements that flow to the subcontract. To support this role, the Principal Systems Engineer will: Complete tasking with minimum oversight.Work along-side other SMT teams supporting the Advanced Equipment SMT Lead. Understand and apply system requirements.Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systemsMaintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements.Create technical reports and present technical informationRequirements coordination with systems engineers, specialty teams, and customer.Verify specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysis.Support all phases of the systems life cycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.Review customer deliverables, testing, and requirements verification.  Bring technical information to boards including PERB, AERB and TRB (as applicable) for all variances, technical direction to supplier, etc.Support pre-ship reviews and coordination with ILS group.Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements.Assistance in planning and scheduling activities.Interface with AF customer and Subcontractor.You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor of Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, 3 years with a master’s degree.Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).3 years minimum experience in Requirements Verification and tools such as DOORS.2 years experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and tools such as Cameo3 years experience in review/approval of test plans/procedures and test reports.Preferred Qualifications:Active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Prior Supplier Management Experience on a...
