Accountabilities:
- Own integrated commercialization project plans for new product launches, packaging transitions, and retail expansion initiatives
- Partner with Sales leadership to operationalize annual plans including distribution targets, velocity goals, and customer business strategies
- Lead retailer-specific commercialization strategies tailored to mass, grocery, natural, club, and convenience channels
- Manage cross-functional execution across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning to ensure launch readiness and in-store success
- Build and maintain launch playbooks to improve speed-to-shelf and execution consistency over time
- Track performance of innovation and commercialization efforts, identifying risks, blockers, and opportunities for optimization
- Develop executive-ready storytelling and sell-in materials that translate data into compelling commercial narratives
- Use syndicated data and analytics to evaluate pricing, promotion, distribution, and category performance to guide decision-making
- 5–7 years of experience in sales strategy, commercialization, category management, or commercial analytics within CPG or related industries
- Strong understanding of end-to-end CPG go-to-market processes including retailer sell-in, stage-gate execution, and trade planning
- Hands-on experience with syndicated data platforms such as Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, or SPINS
- Proven ability to build retailer-facing presentations, category stories, and commercialization plans
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights
- Experience working with major retail accounts (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, Costco, Albertsons, Sprouts) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
