Your role and responsibilities -Strategic Visionary: Develop and execute cutting-edge sourcing strategies aligned with our organizational goals and market trends. Your keen insight will anticipate shifts in the market, enabling us to stay ahead of the curve.- Supplier Partnerships: Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that optimize value, quality, and reliability. You'll be the bridge between us and our suppliers, fostering collaboration and innovation.- Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.• Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of driving value through supplier partnerships.• Analytical mindset, with the ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization.• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field; English and Japanese proficiency, advanced degree or professional certification is a plus• English and Japanese communication skills sufficient to handle work-related documentation and effectively participate in meetings• Experience using SAP systems such as SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass Preferred technical and professional experience • Industry Knowledge Enhancement: Exposure to deep industry knowledge of various commodities, including market trends and dynamics, to enhance sourcing decisions and strategies.• Advanced Data Analysis: Experience working with advanced data analysis tools and benchmarking methodologies to inform complex sourcing decisions and optimize sourcing strategies.• Strategic Sourcing Insights: Exposure to developing strategic sourcing insights through data analysis, market research, and industry trends to drive effective sourcing decisions. ...
