Systems architecture analysis for optimizing testability, performance, reliability, and cost. General PCB layout and design principles (including signal integrity and power integrity analysis). Hardware subsystem and system validation. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $188,800 - $231,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Learn more aboutbenefits at Google (https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/benefits/) **_._** Position reports to the Google Sunnyvale, CA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy. **Responsibilities** + Identify flaws in electrical components, PCBs, or systems and implement corrective solutions to address hardware failures + Evaluate hardware design feasibility based on product requirements, scope projects, and collaborate with partners to customize solutions + Apply best practices to optimize complex electrical components and systems to meet performance, power, and cost-effectiveness requirements + Drive documentation of electrical design, implementation, and test results throughout the entire product lifecycle + Review and approve electrical designs, including block diagrams, schematics, layouts, and bills of material.
