As a Senior Electrical Engineering Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading the team developing electronic control units for Electro-mechanical Flight Control Actuation systems. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring the successful development and delivery of advanced systems. Your leadership and technical knowledge will contribute to the improvement of flight control actuation systems, enhancing the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Brno, CZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the development of electronic control units for flight control actuation systems, ensuring the reliability and performance of these critical components.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Provide clear direction through goal-setting and performance assessments. Create individual development plans to mentor and coach team members toward their career goals.
  • Strategic Resource Planning: Lead the hiring process and develop robust resource plans to ensure the team is appropriately staffed for upcoming project demands.
  • Execution & Technical Oversight: Act as a "hands-on" leader, supporting project execution from both a technical (hardware/electrical) and programmatic perspective to ensure high-quality output.
  • Barrier Removal & Escalation: Proactively identify project bottlenecks and serve as the primary link to local and global leadership to resolve conflicts and escalate critical issues.
  • Delivery & Compliance: Ensure all team output meets strict industry compliance standards and is delivered on time to our customers.
  • Operational Initiative: Drive a culture of "taking the initiative," ensuring tasks are anticipated and addressed before they become urgent problems or impact the schedule.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear, technical communication between local engineering teams and global departments to ensure alignment on requirements and milestones.
  • Education: University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership capacity (Team Lead, Supervisor, or People Manager), with a proven track record of managing technical engineering teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge in electrical design, hardware development, or power electronics to effectively oversee technical reviews and project execution.
  • Communication: Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1 minimum) for seamless collaboration with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ownership & Drive: A self-starter mindset with the ability to operate independently; a "working leader" who takes initiative to resolve bottlenecks before they impact project timelines.
