Job Summary:
Works independently to update procurement systems and coordinates approval and control of procurement activities. Coordinates and assigns daily tasks to team members. Provides support to sourcing and finance teams globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively contacts suppliers to maintain pertinent data, obtain needed documentation, and enable suppliers in procurement systems. Lead identification/resolution of minor supplier invoice and payment issues. Support completion, closure, and recording activities for various contracts and other supplier documentation. Prepare documentation for sourcing events. Initiate and coordinate work delivering results in meeting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory goals. Support/Coordinate supplier quality activities with supplier quality improvement engineers, suppliers, and category teams. Liaison between procurement teams and other functions. Coordinate health safety and environmental awareness and improvement activities and daily tasks. Perform any other tasks assigned. Identify tasks requiring completion. Participate in Project teams, when necessary, to ensure effective implementation of change. Communicate with the supplier and work with supplier to manage Project deliverables within agreed timelines. Use common process tools and business systems to provide repeatable analytics and reporting. Ensure data integrity of all procurement information as it is created and deliver ongoing improvement of existing data. Identify and implement improvements to business processes. Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. College or equivalent degree preferred.
Written communication skills in English, preferred.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Significant experience using Microsoft 365.
Prior Supply Chain systems experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities & Role Description
Procurement Change Management (Engineering Release) : Will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration of procurement changes – Engineering releases across the organization, responsibilities will include:
· Engineering Release intake governance, exception handling, execute standardized ER tasks, upstream correction.
· Managing change initiatives, process improvements, compliance and adherence to operational transitions.
· Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Supplier Continuity, Supplier quality, engineering, and operations) to drive successful implementation of product/part changes.
· Monitoring ER/ECO closure timelines
· Acting as a key liaison between multiple internal stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and issue resolution.
· Documenting supplier review outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices to strengthen organizational knowledge.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Identifies inefficiencies, proposes innovative solutions, and implements process enhancements. Build automations, enhance systems and create dashboards to deliver efficient outcomes
Proactively monitor procurement systems, identify issues, and drive corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Document and share best practices, lessons learned, and improvement initiatives across procurement teams.
Basic Competencies Needed
· Strong Procurement Operational experience and knowledge, Hands-on expertise in procurement change management, PPAP procedure and advance procurement.

Collaboration & Teamwork – Ability to Manage team of Change Management specialists, promotes teamwork, facilitates brainstorming, and drives collective problem-solving across teams.
Analytical & System Expertise – Leverages data-driven insights and demonstrates strong proficiency in procurement systems (SAP/Oracle/Ariba), dashboards, and automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Excel Macros, SQL).
Continuous Improvement & Agility – Identifies process inefficiencies, drives innovation, adapts to change, and delivers enhancements with resilience and a solution-oriented mindset.
Experience (Source-to-Pay / Procurement)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier management.
Hands-on expertise in procurement change management, including RFQs, PO price updates, and supplier master data changes etc.
Exposure to Source-to-Pay processes (supplier onboarding, contract management, purchase order lifecycle).
Proven track record of managing supplier capability assessments and implementing supplier-side changes.
Experience working in cross-functional environments with procurement, finance, engineering, and operations teams.
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Engineering, Business, or related field.
Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred, with specialization in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement.
Additional certifications in Procurement, Project Management (PMP/Prince2), or Data Analytics would be an advantage.
