Brief Job Description :
This role will be handling day-to-day Project Accounting tasks, such as completing Workflow requests: Invoicing, Project Revenue recognition and Project closing requests, Credit Note processing and providing support to Singapore Market Unit.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:
(This will describe the overall core responsibilities of the role, decision making responsibilities etc.)
• He will be assisting in overseeing the financial aspects of a project as it progresses, and be involved in month-end closing activities, preparing accounting journal entries, analyzing various reports such WIP report, Unbilled Receivables, Unearned Revenue, AR Aging report.
• Balance Sheet reconciliation related to Project accounts, providing monthly SOX Compliance requirements, and ABL documentations.
• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy Graduate or any related Finance course
• 1-2 years working experience with project accounting-related work experience, using automated financial systems /Experience in Shared Services environment would be an advantage
• Has above average computer literacy especially in the use of MS Office applications and has experience working on huge database
• Excellent analytical, oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, results oriented and can work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Experience in using ERP systems such as Oracle Accounting System
• High sense of urgency, multi-tasking and can prioritize in fast paced environment and with exceptional time management skills
• Exposure in international and multi-cultural environment.
