Accountabilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery outcomes across 2–4 strategic product areas, ensuring alignment between business goals and engineering execution.
- Translate strategic objectives into epics, user stories, and technical requirements that enable autonomous, high-velocity engineering delivery.
- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance standards.
- Lead backlog prioritization and sequencing to optimize flow, velocity, and technical quality.
- Act as a hands-on technical product leader, contributing to discovery, design, troubleshooting, and delivery unblockers when needed.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and observability improvements to enhance deployment speed and reliability.
- Use data, instrumentation, and analytics to measure product health, ROI, cycle time, and engineering throughput.
- Champion AI-native development practices across discovery, design, coding, testing, and operations.
- Influence technical investment decisions, balancing feature delivery, platform health, and technical debt reduction.
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and promote a culture of experimentation, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product, Business, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in product engineering, software development, technical product leadership, or related roles.
- Proven experience operating across the full lifecycle: discovery → requirements → delivery → production operations.
- Strong background working with complex architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud platforms, data systems).
- Demonstrated hands-on technical capability, including debugging, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.
- Experience integrating AI tools and AI-assisted development practices (including production “vibe coding”) for at least 1+ year.
- Strong ability to operate in ambiguity, synthesize complex technical and business inputs, and make clear recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders and cross-functional engineering leadership.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills.
- High ownership mindset with strong bias for execution, urgency, and outcome delivery.
- Competitive salary range: $145,899 – $247,039 annually, depending on experience and location.
