Together, we can build the future of data storage.Job DescriptionAs a Technologist, Manufacturing Equipment Technology specializing in sputter media manufacturing, you will serve as the highest-level technical authority and strategic technology leader within the manufacturing organization. This role is equivalent to a Senior Manager level and is responsible for driving long-term manufacturing technology strategies, advanced equipment architecture, factory digitalization, and next-generation manufacturing capabilities across the organization.You will lead enterprise-level engineering transformation initiatives involving advanced sputtering systems, automation platforms, AI-driven manufacturing, Industry 4.0 integration, and future factory technology roadmaps. The role requires deep expertise in manufacturing equipment technology, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence global engineering organizations, senior leadership teams, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.As a senior technical leader, you will provide direction for technology standardization, manufacturing innovation, operational excellence, equipment reliability strategy, and future manufacturing competitiveness while mentoring senior engineering talents and strengthening the organization’s technical capabilities.QualificationsRequired :Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Materials, Mechatronics, Physics, or related Engineering disciplines.Minimum 20+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment engineering, advanced manufacturing technology, sputter media, semiconductor, vacuum coating, or related high-technology industries.Preferred :Recognized subject matter expert in sputtering technology, vacuum systems, plasma physics, thin-film deposition, automation systems, and manufacturing equipment architecture.Proven experience leading enterprise-level engineering transformation programs and strategic manufacturing technology initiatives.Strong expertise in smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, digital factory systems, predictive analytics, and advanced automation integration.Extensive experience managing large-scale capital investment projects, factory expansion programs, and global technology deployments.Skills :Strong leadership capability with experience influencing executive leadership teams and cross-functional global organizations.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, technical presentation, and strategic planning skills.Strong business acumen with ability to align engineering strategy with operational and financial objectives.Proficiency in engineering data analytics tools, manufacturing systems, and...
