Electro-Mechanical Technician, 2nd shift

Starting Wage: $39.63 + $2.30 differential

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 1:50 pm – 9:50 pm

Location: Staunton, VA

Your Responsibilities: 

• Work from drawings, sketches, schematics, CMM work requests and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction
• Read and interpret control circuit drawings
• Maintain required records – written and electronic
• Troubleshoot electronic control systems
• Direct, guide, assist, and/or train others to promote manufacturing flexibility

Your Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE
• The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time
• The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment

• Completion of Electrical Journeyman program and/or A.A.S. Degree in Applied Technology

• Three years’ experience in industrial maintenance and electric (preferred)
• Proficient with high voltage electric (600 volts and above) (preferred)
• Experience with CNC/DNC/PLC driven equipment (preferred)
• Understanding of the NEC (preferred)
