This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer – Code Scanning based in Canada.

This role sits at the core of a large-scale security engineering initiative focused on making software safer through advanced static analysis and AI-assisted code intelligence.
You will help design and scale highly available, distributed systems that detect vulnerabilities and code quality issues early in the development lifecycle.
The position involves building and evolving cloud-native services that integrate deeply into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
You will work on systems that operate at massive scale, supporting enterprise-grade security and open-source ecosystems.
A key focus of the role is enabling “found means fixed” security outcomes by reducing friction between detection and remediation.
You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams while influencing technical direction and architecture decisions.
This is a high-impact role where engineering excellence directly improves global software security and developer productivity.
