Accountabilities
- Design and develop a clean, intuitive front-end platform for browsing, searching, filtering, and accessing digital resources.
- Architect and implement a structured backend database and submission schema to organize documents, datasets, presentations, videos, and other content formats.
- Build a submission portal with customizable forms, file upload capabilities, intellectual property acknowledgements, and automated reviewer workflows.
- Develop review management processes that allow administrators to track submissions, assign reviewers, manage permissions, and control publication workflows.
- Implement secure authentication, user roles, and access controls to protect platform privacy and content.
- Integrate search and discovery capabilities, including tagging systems or AI-assisted content exploration tools.
- Provide recommendations for future platform enhancements, maintenance requirements, technical roadmap, and estimated development costs.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, improvements, and final adjustments during platform launch phases.
- Proven experience building web applications, digital platforms, content repositories, or data-driven tools.
- Strong understanding of front-end development, backend architecture, databases, and scalable platform design.
- Ability to explain technical decisions, workflows, and recommendations clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working independently, managing project milestones, and iterating based on feedback.
- Ability to design solutions that support future growth, AI integration, and long-term technical development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to user experience, security, and performance.
- Experience collaborating with universities, research organizations, startups, or innovation-focused environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with climate technology, emerging technologies, or knowledge-sharing platforms is beneficial.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available.
