We are committed to collaboration and finding innovative solutions that advance neurovascular intervention, establishing Route 92 Medical as one of the premier companies in the field.PURPOSE OF JOB: The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role is a field-based, customer-facing, non-promotional, subject-matter expert within the Medical Affairs department who drives high-impact scientific engagement to enhance scientific understanding and support the appropriate integration of Route 92 Medical products into clinical practice.This position requires travel throughout the United States and Canada and must reside within a commutable distance to a MAJOR airport.The MSL must demonstrate deep neuro-interventional expertise, understand territory and market influences, engage scientifically with Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and medical experts, manage and develop key target customers, and execute all relevant activities in alignment with the medical affairs strategic plan. The MSL is responsible for providing fair, balanced, and objective scientific information and education to key opinion leaders and internal partners, as required by scientific and business needs. Expected field-based travel of 70% of the time, with weekend responsibilities to attend conferencesRESPONSIBILITIES: The MSL will leverage scientific expertise and market knowledge to establish and build professional relationships and engage with HCPs (including academic physicians, community physicians, medical experts, nurses, and other healthcare professionals) and other thought leaders as aligned with medical strategy.Engage with customers in the field- customer engagements may include but are not limited to emerging data discussions, clinical trial activities, exploration of areas of unmet medical need, pipeline discussions, educating on disease state and product, and capturing medical insights through all stages of the product lifecycle.Responds in a timely manner to unsolicited scientific inquiries, delivering balanced, accurate information in accordance with available scientific evidence and company standards. Identification of opportunities for partnership with academic centers, centers of excellence, and/or systems of care to drive impact Support scientific engagements, attend congresses, run advisory boards, and other Medical Affairs initiatives. identification of opportunities to involve HCPs or MEs when a specific medical need is identified (e.g., publications, clinical trial participation, etc.)Identification of opportunities for internal collaboration with other Route 92 Medical stakeholders to drive forward the therapeutic area, clinical, or product goals as appropriate.
