This role focuses on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and supporting container platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes across multi‑cloud environments. The position plays a key role in improving operational efficiency, platform stability, and observability. Your role and responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support application build, test, and deployment processesImplement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform across cloud and on‑prem environmentsDevelop and maintain configuration management and automation using AnsiblePerform advanced system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in Linux environmentsDevelop automation frameworks and operational tooling using Shell/Bash scriptingSupport deployment, operations, and lifecycle management of applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes platformsDesign, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability frameworks for Kubernetes/OpenShift environmentsWork across IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP to integrate DevOps and infrastructure workflowsEnsure high availability, reliability, security, and compliance of DevOps platformsCollaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enforce DevOps best practicesParticipate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise • Strong experience in DevOps engineering or related rolesExpert-level knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automationStrong hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration managementAdvanced proficiency in Linux systems administrationExpert-level skills in Shell/Bash scriptingStrong understanding of OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture and operationsExperience developing or maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions for Kubernetes/OpenShift platformsSolid understanding of cloud environments, including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCPKnowledge of CI/CD tools, GitOps practices, and DevOps methodologies Preferred technical and professional experience • Experience designing enterprise-scale CI/CD and GitOps frameworksExposure to security and compliance practices in cloud and container platformsExperience supporting production-grade Kubernetes/OpenShift environmentsFamiliarity with incident management, SRE practices, and reliability engineeringStrong collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamsRelevant certifications in cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or DevOps tools Years of Experience:7 - 12 ABOUT BUSINESS UNIT IBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
