A Day in the Life

We are looking for a talented and driven Capital PM Specialist to join our team and support critical capital investments across Engineering and Operations. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams, provide valuable financial insight, and help ensure projects are successfully planned, tracked, and executed in alignment with business goals and corporate standards. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Typically manages major / moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work products, at times acting as a team leader.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Project Management within project-based environments, including responsibility for capital projects, financial analysis, and asset control.
• Strong knowledge of SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and capital governance.
