The opportunity
We’re building and growing Adobe’s Content Strategy presence in India, and this role will play a key part in shaping what that becomes.
This is a player-coach role to start—supporting an existing team, contributing directly to product work, and helping establish a strong foundation for how content strategy operates locally. Over time, this role will evolve to help scale a broader team supporting multiple products.
You’ll partner closely with Design, Product, and Adobe’s global UX Content Strategy team to ensure our work is clear, consistent, and connected across Adobe’s ecosystem.
What you’ll do
Lead and support a growing team
Manage and coach a small team of content strategists (FTEs and contractors)
Provide clear direction, feedback, and support for growth and development
Foster a culture of quality, inclusion, and strong craft
Contribute as a player-coach
Embed within a product team (initially Document Cloud) and contribute directly to content strategy and UX writing work
Set a high bar for quality through your own work and guidance
Model strong product thinking, systems thinking, and craft excellence
Shape how content strategy works locally
Partner with regional and global stakeholders to define how content strategy engages with product teams in India
Help teams understand how to work effectively with content strategy
Align local practices with Adobe-wide standards, systems, and ways of working
Connect India to the broader ADCS ecosystem
Act as a key bridge between the India team and global Content Strategy
Ensure consistency in voice, tone, terminology, and experience quality
Bring insights and perspectives from India into global conversations
Influence product and design outcomes
Partner with Design Directors and Product leaders to shape experiences—not just support execution
Advocate for clarity, usability, and cohesive experiences across workflows
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
Strong experience in UX content design, content strategy, or UX writing within product teams
A portfolio that demonstrates excellent craft, clear thinking, and strategic impact
Experience working in global or distributed teams, with a strong understanding of how to operate effectively across regions
Experience managing and/or mentoring others, with a focus on coaching and raising the bar for quality
Ability to operate independently and make decisions with confidence in a distributed environment
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with design and product leadership
Ability to connect user needs, product strategy, and business goals to drive effective content and experience decisions
Nice-to-haves:
Experience helping establish or scale a team, practice, or function
Familiarity with design systems and content standards
Experience working across multiple products or platforms
Experience supporting growth-focused product teams, including experimentation, optimization, and testing practices
Familiarity with AI-powered experiences, conversational interfaces, or emerging AI design patterns
Experience contributing to frameworks, evaluation methods, or systems that support quality and consistency at scale
Why this role matters
This role is an opportunity to help shape not just the work, but how the work happens. You’ll play a key part in building a strong, connected content strategy practice in India—one that contributes meaningfully to Adobe’s global product ecosystem.
