Accountabilities:
- Define and maintain target-state, transition-state, and current-state data architectures across financial services domains such as Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Compliance
- Drive enterprise data modeling initiatives and ensure alignment with global and industry data standards (e.g., FSLDM, BIRD)
- Design end-to-end data flows, integration architectures, and cross-domain data solutions across complex ecosystems
- Establish and facilitate architecture governance forums, review boards, and data standards adoption across the organization
- Lead architectural decisions for data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and regulatory reporting initiatives
- Partner with business, technology, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure consistency across data strategy and execution
- Review and approve solution architectures to ensure compliance with governance, quality, and regulatory expectations
- 9+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, or related roles, ideally in financial services
- Strong domain expertise in areas such as Risk, Finance, Treasury, Capital Markets, or Transaction Banking
- Deep understanding of financial products including loans, deposits, bonds, derivatives, swaps, and options
- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks such as FINREP, ILAAP, CCR, and other EMEA requirements
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent technologies
- Expertise in enterprise data modeling, metadata management, MDM, and data quality frameworks
- Experience with data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra) and architecture tools (e.g., LeanIX, Ardoq)
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns including Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Lake, and hybrid architectures
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across technical and executive audiences
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and decision-making capability in complex environments
