Manager Marketing Outreach and Education
Location: Remote-Kansas
Compensation: Part-time, $27.00-$35.00 Hourly DOE
Functions as Lead Instructor for Hospital Partners and GMR Operations in the program state Instructs in all levels of AHA education: courses in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all curricula align with current American Heart Association (AHA) standards and evidence-based practices
- Coordinate and manage assigned program courses
- Supervise skills labs and serve as a lab instructor as needed
- Maintain accurate records for courses, students, and program activities
- Evaluate student progress regularly, providing feedback, counseling, and documentation of issues
- Ensure student evaluations meet AHA standards and requirements
- Provide limited tutoring support as requested
- Participate in and support additional education programs as needed
- Maintain exam security, including monitoring exams and safeguarding evaluation materials (physical or electronic)
- Stay current with state/local EMS requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies and procedures
- Maintain instructor certifications for standardized courses as mutually agreed upon
- Build and sustain strong relationships with hospital partners and EMS systems within the program region
- Deliver outreach education to GMR field personnel at the request of clinical leadership
- Coordinate regular follow-up meetings with hospital and EMS partners to support ongoing collaboration

- Establish and maintain positive working relationships across the organization
- Utilize tact, professionalism, and effective problem-solving when addressing issues
- Communicate concerns promptly and initiate timely resolution efforts
- Engage positively with staff, agency personnel, and students
- Represent the program as a professional ambassador
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of patient and personnel information
Fiscal Responsibility:
- Execute responsibilities with a focus on productivity and operational efficiency
- Demonstrate cost awareness in daily activities and support resource optimization
- Assist in maintaining program equipment and supplies
Problem Solving & Adaptability:
- Respond effectively to changing priorities and program needs
- Take ownership of issue resolution and proactive problem-solving
- Exercise sound judgment in situations not covered by established guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve departmental challenges
Qualifications: Education & Industry Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- AHA ACLS Instructor*
- PHTLS or ITLS Instructor *
- Instructor of either PALS or PEPP or EPC (as required by Program) *
- Completion of an approved Instructor course*, specifics as required by local governing authority *required within 6 months of hire
- Ability to design and deliver engaging educational presentations using adult learning principles
- Proficient in developing training across multiple platforms, including in-person, LMS, and webinars
- Minimum 3 years progressive experience in a field/clinical setting as Paramedic or emergency nurse
- Documented AHA teaching experience preferred
- Experience in supervision of instructional staff preferred.
- Certifications: Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse, NREMT certification preferred, Current certification/licensure in the program state, NRP or Compact RN as required by the program state
