  • You will assess each customer's Java estate, tailor the technical depth to the audience, explain complex application and JVM topics clearly, and translate discussion into actionable next steps.

  • A trusted technical advisor who communicates effectively with audiences ranging from software engineers to executive and business stakeholders, adapting technical depth to the needs of each audience.
  • A collaborative problem solver who applies sound engineering judgment, independently investigates unfamiliar technical challenges, and delivers practical, experience-based recommendations in complex customer environments.
  • A proactive contributor who creates opportunities rather than waiting for direction, continuously learns new technologies, shares knowledge freely, and enables both customers and colleagues to succeed
  • Identify customer goals, aspirations, and weaknesses across their Java estate and mobilize the full range of Oracle expertise and resources to help them succeed.
  • Rapidly understand unfamiliar customer environments and apply sound technical judgment to provide practical recommendations, even when no established playbook exists.
  •  Help customers clarify, scope, and act on their goals through tailored workshops, presentations, ad hoc technical advice, regular check-ins, short-topic videos, demonstration code, sample applications, lightweight prototypes, and other techniques developed with peers.
  • Stay current with developments in the Java language, ecosystem, and industry trends to remain relevant to advanced customers.
    • Topics include modern Java features and frameworks, AI, performance, deployment, update and upgrade management, architecture, security, and other emerging areas
  • Translate customer goals and technical evidence into clear recommendations, adoption roadmaps, and prioritized next actions, then follow through to support measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Solution Consultants, Sales, Product Management, Support, Engineering, and regional leaders to align expectations, resolve issues, and extend successful customer engagements.
  • Enable Oracle Sales, Customer Success, Solution Consulting, and technical teams by sharing expertise, mentoring colleagues, creating reusable guidance, and improving the effectiveness of customer engagements.
  • Create, maintain, and improve workshop presentations, demonstrations, sample applications, exercises, one-pagers, videos, and toolkits; capture feedback and outcomes and share reusable patterns across the team.
