What you will do:

The Service Engineer – CFS is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems, fire detection & suppression systems, and electronic security systems. The role ensures system reliability, compliance with safety standards, and high customer satisfaction through timely service delivery.

What we look for:

  • 1. Installation & Commissioning

  • Install and commission systems such as:
    • Building Management Systems (BMS) / PLC-based control systems
    • Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Fire Suppression systems
    • CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm Systems
  • Conduct system testing and ensure proper integration
  • Validate performance as per technical and safety standards
  • 2. Maintenance & Servicing

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systems
  • Conduct periodic inspections and system health checks
  • Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance
  • 3. Troubleshooting & Fault Resolution

  • Diagnose issues in control panels, sensors, wiring, and field devices
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, controllers, fire panels, and security devices
  • Execute timely repairs and escalate complex issues when required
  • 4. Customer Support

  • Interface with clients to understand issues and provide solutions
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and service timelines
  • Provide user training and system guidance
  • 5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance records
  • Update service activities in CRM/ERP tools
  • Track spare parts and inventory usage
  • 6. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with fire safety standards (NFPA / NBC / local regulations)
  • Adhere to company safety protocols during service activities
  • Participate in audits and inspections
  • Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
  • 2–5 years of experience in:
    • Fire & Safety Systems
    • Security Systems (CCTV, Access Control)
    • Building Automation / Controls
  • Key Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting in electrical & control systems
  • Knowledge of:
    • Fire alarm panels (addressable & conventional)
    • CCTV, Access Control systems
    • PLC / BMS systems
  • Understanding of wiring diagrams and control schematics
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
