Senior Lead Platform Engineer, Property Technology

As a Senior Lead Platform Engineer, Property Technology, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Software Engineering Property Platform team reporting to the Senior Director New Venture Delivery, you will support projects including defining and delivering technology capabilities for Hilton's Strategic Properties.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Define the product strategy for Hilton's Opera Cloud platform and enterprise capabilities.
- Lead backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and sprint planning activities.
- Lead a small team of senior Business Analysts by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric decision-making.
- Establish team goals, development plans, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate executive-level discussions regarding priorities, risks, and timelines.
- Manage and influence strategic partnership with Oracle and other third-party vendors supporting Opera Cloud solutions.
- Support PMS strategy, including leading the evaluation, analysis, and implementation of new PMS solutions.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Partner with Hilton's business teams, technology teams, and vendors to understand and detail technology needs and to transform those requirements into deliverable solutions.
- Partner with development, QE, and vendor teams to deliver new functionality and enterprise capabilities.
- Drive Hilton Technology teams and vendors/partners to deliver quick product enhancements and resolution on open issues and drive new improvements.
Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
- Develop and deliver executive stakeholder updates, status reporting, and governance materials.
- Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure adoption and enhance hotel operations.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Product, Technology or related field
- Three (3) years of experience leading teams or projects in a technology environment
- Three (3) years of experience in Hotel/Hospitality Operations
- Understanding of core hotel operations concepts and technology use cases
- Relationship skills to effectively support property and business stakeholders and to drive internal and external technology partners
- Skills to accurately convey functional requirements to technical teams and progress reporting to stakeholders and leaders
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and CoPilot
- Skills to overcome product and technical challenges to meet delivery commitments and remove barriers to progress
- This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, Memphis)
- Willing to travel ~20%
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Product/Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
- Ten (10) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
- Experience with Property Management Systems (especially Opera PMS)

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $110,000 – $160,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
