Material PlannerLocation: Arden, NCPay: $29-$36/hour (based on experience)Schedule: Full-time | Hybrid schedule available after training (1-2 remote days per week)Position OverviewWe are seeking a Material Planner to support a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility focused on developing advanced power generation systems for data centers and microgrid applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing operation at the ground level and play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support production while optimizing inventory levels.The Material Planner will work closely with production planning, customer service, purchasing, supplier quality, and scheduling teams to develop and execute supply plans, resolve material shortages, and drive on-time delivery performance.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain long-term supply plans based on production forecastsCoordinate material availability to support production schedulesResolve material shortages, backlogs, and potential supply chain disruptionsWork directly with suppliers to obtain recovery plans and improve delivery performancePerform root cause analysis to identify and resolve supply issuesCommunicate shipping requirements to suppliers to ensure on-time deliveriesUtilize SAP and ERP systems to execute supplier schedules and monitor delivery performanceTrack raw material inventory and help minimize excess inventoryCreate reports to evaluate supplier performance and key supply chain metricsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Production Scheduling, Supplier Quality, and Customer ServiceFollow all health, safety, and environmental policies while promoting a safe work environmentQualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent work experienceExperience with production planning, scheduling, or material planningKnowledge of planning and scheduling concepts and best practicesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPointExperience with MRP/ERP systems requiredSAP experience strongly preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilitiesManufacturing experience preferredWhy Join Us?Competitive pay: $29-$36/hourHybrid work schedule after training (1-2 remote days per week)Opportunity to join a brand-new, cutting-edge manufacturing facilityCollaborative team environment with opportunities for growthBe part of an innovative organization supporting next-generation energy solutions
